First Fully Autonomous Test Flight

HopFlyt conducted its first fully autonomous test flights in 2024 with its Group 2 Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) named Squall. These tests were the first for a fully autonomous flight of the Squall, which demonstrated the aircraft’s ability to perform vertical takeoff and landing, fixed-wing transitions, snap turns, and precision landings without any operator input.
